Re: Question The Koran

no offense, but to just say. Get the book and read it.

opinions are a different matter.

in some choicy opinions, I'd say it's a nice book, but the ideology in religious law can be manipulated to tyranny, as can nearly any religion.

other than that, Lots of Muslims are actually nice guys, that to westerners, are extra effeminate, and seem to press in on "personal Space" their languages are quite intresting, as are their phrases.

mostly it's just the extremest that give bad names. and they tend to usually be:

newly indoctrinated Muji
Veteran Mujaheddin
Officers and leaders of the various groups
government presidents, rulers, dictators, tyrants.
Religious council, and any sort of seat of power.

Qur'an (2:191-193) - "And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution [of Muslims] is worse than slaughter [of non-believers]...and fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah."

Qur'an (8:39) - "And fight with them until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah"

There's two of them. I think there are more, however.

The main reason they don't eat pork is the same reason the Jewish people don't, because pigs are naturally unclean animals. They have parasites, diseases etc. and back then they didn't have proper meathods of ridding the food of such things. Even today people get sick from undercooked pork and such. That is also why some don't eat shellfish.

It's a trick implemented by the terrorist and government organizations. They point out the "infidels" as whatever target they want, from the Crusades to the Iraq War. Radical believers will flock to destroy this "threat" in belief that if they die in battle, they will be rewarded in heaven.

Re: Question The Koran

[sign in to see URL] about the biggest misquote anyone could have had stated:

“But if they cease, Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah; but if they cease, let there be no hostility except to those who practice oppression.”[Al-Qur'an 2:192-193]

That does not state anything about killing. In fact how about these passages:

“Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just.

[Al-Qur'an 60:8]

“…take not life, which God hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus doth He command you, that ye may learn wisdom.” [Al-Qur'an 6:151]

…if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people.”
[Al-Qur'an 5:32]

“Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors. And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have Turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith.”

[Al-Qur'an 2:190-191]

It is a well-known fact of Islamic history, that fighting against aggressors was prohibited during the first thirteen years of the Prophet's mission. After Muslims migrated to Medina , the verses above were revealed to enable the community to fight in self-defense.

People have twisted them to be aggresive

When I think about it a little, what terorists are doing now, is pretty much the revenge for the Chritian Crusades of the Medieval ages.
